I have a confession: I have been spent most of my life hiding in false and incomplete identities. 

I have a confession: I am not going to try get rid of distractions. 

I have a confession: Sometimes I react instead of respond. 

As I have been thinking about the idea of learning to walk, this song has been on my heart. 

I have a confession: Sometimes I get impatient and rush ahead. Sometimes I get scared so nothing. 

As I process choices and outcomes, it is not so much the ‘Why’ that matters; it is the ‘What’.

Do you remember those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books? Sometimes I wish that life were like that . . . Or, maybe it is. 

I have a confession: I took an entire course titled “Forgiveness” at the graduate level and I still am predominantly unsure about the whole thing.

How am I here? I am learning to live free . . .

The warrior of Hope may be brought to its knees, beat down and battered, but Hope is hard to kill. Hope will grasp for breath and spring back to life, even stronger than before.

This upside down way of being grateful is exactly where I want to live.
